The Artist
Brazilian, born on February 24, 1959, in the city of Aracaju - SE, he is internationally recognized, with works in over 60 countries. He studied at the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. He has lived in Paraty - RJ since 2004, where he maintains a studio and his own gallery in the city's Historic Center. Aecio Sarti uses used truck tarps as the base for his works

Atelier
Aecio Sarti chose to live and paint in a fishing village called Calhaus, accessible only by sea. The journey to the village, which takes two hours by boat, is naturally a source of inspiration for the artist. The sea and silence become accomplices in the creation of works that are not explained, only felt.
